Below are some of the suggested builds for a "runner". You will notice that they all have at least one level of Barbarian and that is for the speed boost associated with that class. Level 8 is the advisable level to reach before joining in on a run. Bard 7/Barbarian 1Benefits: Barbarian Sprint Boost, Barbarian Fast Movement, Haste, Healing Spells, Inspire Courage, Ironskin Chant, Blur, Displacement, Invisibility Weaknesses: Possibly less damage than a pure Barbarian, less base attack bonus, songs take some time to sing. Summary: This is a very easy and solid build for Favor Running. You can do a good amount of damage while carrying a two-handed weapon (great sword or great axe) and you can heal yourself and buff yourself as needed. Sorcerer or Wizard 7/Barbarian 1Benefits: Many arcane spells to kill enemies fast, Dimension Door and Teleport to help you move around fast, Haste, Resist Energy to protect against Lightning and Acid, Invisibility Weaknesses:lack of full healing unless Warforged Summary: A Sorcerer or Wizard is another solid choice for Favor Running because the mobs will die really easily from area of effect and other damage spells. Teleport and Dimension Door helps you enter and exit quests faster once you get to a higher level. Sorcerers are slightly better due to faster casting. Being able to use defensive buffs will make sure you survive as well. Barbarian 7Benefits: Barbarian Sprint Boost, Barbarian Fast Movement, Enhancements to increase damage, Uncanny Dodge, Barbarian Damage Reduction, Barbarian Rage Weaknesses: Lack of Healing Spells, May need to purchase a Haste item and Healing Potions Summary: A Barbarian is a fair choice for Favor Running but may have trouble with certain quests where healing may be needed. Healing potions may be required to do certain quests consistently without dying. The Barbaria does a lot of damage with two-handed weapons and has a lot of damage reduction and AC to protect against most attacks but they may be susceptible to lightning bolts. |
Listed below here is how you should build your "sponge" (the account earning all the TP) character every time you re-roll.
You should always go with a Barbarian because they have their innate speed boost. Additionally, don't forget to "Custom Class" and choose the "Dragonmark of Passage" which is an active speed buff. You want your sponge to be able to get from one mission to the other very fast so that you can spend time doing other things like your own missions as well as to help cut down overall time for your other party members. |
